I'm currently on vacation but can do something for this next week. Way it is designed to work is really easy to extend, you can create your custom plugin (and contribute back) for this case. You can also go for custom module and plugin if you want.

Please keep sharing the progress and I'll check this as soon as I'm back from vacation.
