Upon further discussion with @gaurav.kapoor around how to chalk out a road map for 8.x and forward, we have below challenges,
- The 7.x design of the theme is now outdated.
- The 8.x branch of the theme already has a new design being used (blue background)
- However, the design being used is not shared anywhere, and this is blocked to identify what is done and what is pending to get a stable release out.
- Based on the work that has happened, redoing the 8.x theme in another design would not be ideal considering the work that has already happened and the blue masters name and design itself was a port of a WP theme https://themesinfo.com/wordpress-theme-bluemasters-cgb1
Hence, we would request the contributors who worked on 8.x to share any reference designs they might have used to start the work which shall help us to identify what is pending.
The goal is to get a stable release out of 8.x which can also work on 9.x and above.
