$response->addCommand(new UpdateBuildIdCommand($form['#build_id_old'], $form['#build_id']));

I added this inside ProductVariationWidgetBase::ajaxRefresh() but it is still not working. RefreshPageElementsHelper::updateFormBuildId() is not getting called either the second time.
